A human agent for an ancient race called The Shadows.Mr Morden, as he is called, was on a ship called the Icarus when it landed on an unknown planet. That planet turned out to be the homeworld of The Shadows. Most of the crew were either killed or forced to become part of a Shadow vessel, but a small handful chose to serve the Shadows, including Mr Morden.His primary role was as a human agent for the Shadows. Initially this was just helping certain Governments, such as the Centauri, militarily as a way of destablizing the region. Later, he would incite whole species to fight one another, as part of the Shadows' philosophy that chaos and war bring about evolutionary change.He was badly injured during Sheridan's attack on the Shadow homeworld and is later seen healing while on Centauri Prime, working with the Emperor to create a Shadow base there.After the murder of Emperor Cartagia, Mr Morden is executed and his head placed upon a pike.
