Cyclops was able to expose and defeat him.Avengers Assemble cartoon - he was first seen escaping a superhuman prison. Later, he took control of Tony Stark and the other Avengers, and forced them to take over the world. However, the Vision escaped his control and was able to free a few Avengers, who then took down Kilgrave.
