Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne)Brusque and determined, Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) is a detective in the Starling City Police Department. He is the father of Laurel and the late Sara Lance and the ex-husband of Dinah Lance. Quentin blames Oliver for the death of his daughter Sara because Sara was on Oliver's yacht when it crashed and she was killed.Unaware that Oliver is Arrow, Quentin has made a vow to take down Arrow by any means necessary because he believes that true justice can only come from law and order. He sees Arrow a menace to Starling City. Quentin is so intent on capturing Arrow that he will even put his loved ones in danger. Quentin is a bit arrogant and believes that he can conduct an investigation any way he sees fit.
