Dennis Hayden, who was raised on a farm near Greenbush, plays Ray in the remake movie about two alien children with supernatural powers who must make it back to their spacecraft. Ray is the owner of Ray's Roadhouse, at which one of the grown-up kids from the 1975 Escape to Witch Mountain works. Hayden uses a shotgun in a humorous standoff scene in the movie.
