Ruby White is the human identity of a Qetesh, who came to Earth after converting her outer space prison into a functional craft. She drains some of the life force of Sarah Jane and takes over her place at Bannerman Road. She possesses greater strength than a human, being able to pulverise a mobile phone with the grip of her hand.
