Sito Jaxa is a Bajoran Starfleet ensign who, while at Starfleet Academy, is involved in the Nova Squadron accident cover-up along with Wesley Crusher. Captain Jean-Luc Picard later tests her when she comes aboard the Enterprise-D, giving her a chance to redeem herself. She joins Worf in the security division and becomes friends with Taurik, Sam Lavelle, Nurse Alyssa Ogawa and Ten Forward waiter Ben. Picard later selects her for a covert assignment.
