Sloan Riley is the 18-year-old daughter of Mark Sloan whose mother named her after her father despite the fact that the he gave her a few hundred dollars and left town when he learned his high-school girlfriend was pregnant. Sloan comes to the hospital to find Mark after she herself becomes pregnant at 18 and is kicked out of the house by her mother.
