Steve Bartowski is the father of Eleanor Faye Ellie and Charles Irving Chuck Bartowski. He was on the team which invented the original Intersect which had been downloaded into Chuck's brain. He went on the run when he figured out what the government's plans were for the Intersect. He only resurfaced to help remove the Intersect which Chuck had in his brain and for the wedding of his daughter Ellie to Devon Woodcomb.
