He bombarded himself with rays from that machine, and decided to use his newfound powers to fight crime as the Atom.He can shrink in size. He can shrink to the size of a doll, or the size of an ant, or even the size of an air molecule. Also, when he's small, he can fire laser beams.He is a member of the Justice League, a superhero group.
