Yosemite Sam is a cartoon character from the Looney Tunes. He is a cowboy, althought he has dressed as an Ancient Greco-Roman Legionnaire and a pirate in the past.He often plays the villain, althought he can be a good guy if the occassion calls for it.He first appeared in the cartoon Hare Trigger .He is short, with a thick red mustache and a gruff accent.He appears in Who Framed Roger Rabbit . There, when Eddie Valiant is going to Marvin Acme's factory to investigate his murder, he walks past Sam, whose behind caught fire.In Space Jam , he is part of the TuneSquad team. There is a funny scene where Sam and Elmer Fudd imitate Vince and Jules from Pulp Fiction , and shoot all of a Monstar's teeth off.In Looney Tunes: Back in Action , he acts as the number two man of Mr. Chairman. He tries to kill D.J. Drake, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Kate Houghton, but fails. He is caught in a huge explosion, but survives. Since the movie is a parody of the Austin Powers movies, he is supposed to be Number Two.He plays the Klingonleader K'utcha S'am in the television series Duck Dodgers .In the television series Tiny Toons , his nephew, the evil millionaire Max Montana, acts as the main antagonist.He was inducted into the International Mustache Hall of Fame in 2015 (inaugural class) in the category Animated.
