Ann Todd was a beautiful English actress best known as Gregory Peck's wife in Alfred Hitchcock's Le procès Paradine (1947). Her third husband was the legendary director David Lean, for whom she appeared in three films, Les amants passionnés (1949), Madeleine (1950), and Le mur du son (1952).
