I love mountains and all that, but what sticks in my mind when I am gone from Norway, is the Østfold (part of Norway) landscape. The open cultural landscapes, breezy forests and yellow wheat fields, the granite, the summer, the coastal lines and the rounded bare rocks by the sea.

I felt a strong urge to go out and shoot a bear, or crush rocks. [about becoming a father and thus feeling like a man]
