Asit Vyas is an entrepreneur and producer of independent films. Born in India, and grounded with a keen business mind, Asit took his various skills and has applied them to his career as a business owner and a film producer. Currently, Asit is developing a feature film under his AV Entertainment Banner called "Thank You, Cancer," the true love story behind the fascinating life of a former USC student Shalin Shah. Shalin's saga has appeared in media outlets such as The Huffington Post and Social media all across the world.Asit has also produced a Bollywood/Hollywood film under his company New Age Productions. He has completed Producers program from UCLA and education in Radio, TV & Film from San Jose State University. Attracted to the performing art and film for as long as he can remember, Asit has also worked in theatre and in front of the camera for a handful of productions. Asit's strengths in the industry came from his 25 years of background in business, where he used a multi-faceted approach to grow his ownership to 23 Pizza Huts and 10 Burger King franchises. Savvy with both management and finance, technology and operations, Asit is an acute problem solver with the mentality and resources to build a winning team. Asit resides in Los Angeles, California and is happily married for 29 years and is a loving father of a son and a daughter, both Doctor of Medicine.
