Member of the Writer's Guild of America West. Graduate of the University of Southern California (2005). Mentored by Emmy-winning director-producer Peter Tewksbury. After an early start in journalism, Hedges was on hand for pro-democracy protests (met by riot police crackdowns) in Belgrade, Yugoslavia during the Milosevic regime - and helped chronicle the conclusion of NASA's space shuttle program. Raised in Enid, Oklahoma and Chico, California. Brother of Windham Hill guitarist Michael Hedges.
