Brian Michael Dorton is an American filmmaker/actor, best known for Trashology (2012), The Horror Network Vol. 1 (2013), and Crazy Fat Ethel (2015), a remake of the cult film Criminally Insane (1975). He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 12, 1975. Dorton's repertoire to date spans several different film genres, though one will find repeat appearances from the cast and crew members he has helped develop over the course of his young career. The most prevalent of these defined working relationships is one with editor and co-collaborator, actor Douglas Conner. Outside of their professional endeavors, Conner and Dorton have maintained a close friendship for many, many years. Brian says he would someday like to branch out into other genres like drama and even direct an animated film.
