Corey Deshon was born in New York City, NY and grew up with his mother, a public school social worker, in Tampa, FL. After studying music as a child, he attended the University of Central Florida where he received a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology before moving to Los Angeles to pursue filmmaking. He is a writer, director, and photographer, known for his debut short film To Police (2015) and for the upcoming independent feature Shine (2017).
