Debra A. Phillips was born, Debra Johnson, the 15th child to Laura and Henry Johnson. She grew up in the idyllic rural town of Glennville, Georgia. She graduated from high school and years later, pursued a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Administration from Saint Leo University and a Masters of Art in Adult Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University. She begin pursuing her Doctorate Degree in Psychology and realizing her passion for post secondary pursuits had fizzled out. She began a teaching career working as a 4-8 grade teacher and a Developmental Education Instructor at a local college. She has also launched several entrepreneurial endeavors. A creative spirit, Debra considers herself blessed to pursue her dream of being an actress. She started as a background actress in 2015 and has landed a few select speaking roles in 2016. With acting, Debra has found her calling and has wholeheartedly embraced her avant-garde journey in the art.
