Deepak Raj is a talented and versatile actor and filmmaker. Born in the United States, he grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. and developed a voracious appetite for movies. After discovering his love for filmmaking at a young age, he wrote, produced, directed, and starred in his first short film in tenth grade, which earned a second-place finish in the state of Virginia's Reflections competition in 2006. He continued making short films throughout high school and college, including a short that won Best Use of Dialog at the 2010 24-Speed Competition at the The College of William & Mary. Deepak graduated in 2013, earning a degree in Literary and Cultural Studies with a concentration in Film Studies. He now works and resides in Los Angeles.
