Derek Muller is a physicist, educator, and filmmaker, known for Veritasium (2011), Uranium: Twisting the Dragon's Tail (2015) and mental floss: The List Show (2013). He is best known for creating the YouTube channel Veritasium. Muller was born in Australia, and moved to Vancouver, Canada, when he was two. In 2004, Muller graduated from Queen's University in Ontario with a B.Sc in Engineering Physics and completed a PhD in physics education research from the University of Sydney in 2008.
