I was more nervous just thinking about reading lines compared to pitching my first big league inning. Once I got on set, Brad [Pitt] was very welcoming and made everyone feel relaxed... [he] would sit and shoot the breeze like he was one of the guys in the clubhouse.

'You should get into acting,' Brad [Pitt] told me. 'You've got a knack for it.' So, yeah, I'd absolutely do it again. I've been trying to share this experience with the kids I coach. I tell them, 'If you prepare and put yourself in the right situation, you can be successful'.
