Eddie Betts
Eddie Betts was born in Port Lincoln, South Australia, but grew up in the mining town of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. One of the greatest small forwards in the history of the game, Betts started his career with the Blues at 18 years old in 2005 where he was named the best first-year player that year. In 2014, after playing 184 games for Carlton, he was traded to the Adelaide Crows where he played a further 132 games. In 2020 Betts returned to Carlton, regaining his famous number 19 Guernsey. With more career goals than any other Indigenous Blue, Betts' other accomplishments include four AFL Goal of the Year awards, two Carlton leading Goalkicker (2010, 2012) and four Adelaide leading Goalkicker (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017) awards as well as earning three All-Australian honours (2015, 2016, 2017).
