Eugene Rhee is an award winning producer, writer & director. He is a producer of the Hulu Original horror anthology series "Into the Dark" ("Flesh & Blood") with Blumhouse Productions which premiered in Fall 2018 on Hulu. He is also co-executive producer of the Netflix Original film "Despite Everything" which will be released globally via Netflix in 2019. Previously, Eugene was a creative consultant on "Fast Five", the fifth film in Universal Pictures' "Fast & Furious" film franchise. He has also garnered numerous writing awards including the Grand Prize in Europe's largest screenplay competition (Shore Scripts), was a Finalist in the Page International Screenwriting Awards, and was a Nicholl Fellowships semi-finalist among other honors. He is an alumnus of the Producers Guild of America's diversity master workshop, and has also directed commercials, videos and shorts that have garnered awards and screened in numerous festivals including Sundance. Eugene is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the U.S.C. School of Cinematic Arts.
