Grant Ross was born in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, South Africa, on 3 April, 1986. He made his debut as an actor at the age of 8 in a primary school play as a "lonely Crocodile", and since then has amassed an enviable list of credits and is showing no signs of slowing down.In high school, Grant was awarded best newcomer actor and received his colours for Drama. He then enrolled in a 3yr BA in Live Performance Degree at AFDA in Cape Town, where he focused mainly on honing his craft in film acting.Grant is known for his work on SAF3 (2014) , Grzimek (2015) , Bypass (2016) , National Geographics "No Man Left Behind" and "Killer Instinct" series as well as Black Sails (2017)Grant continues to advance his craft under the techniques of Uta Hagen, Sandford Meisner, Ivanna Chubuck and Michelle Danner.
