Greg Siff
Greg is an American actor, artist, and writer who's experimental art short film, Sequential Paint, was a featured selection at the Spring 2010 NewFilmmakers Series in New York City at the Anthology Film Archives. The film also screened at various exhibits, art shows and galleries in Los Angeles, including the opener of the 2006 Santa Ana Film Festival. His work blurs the boundaries between Pop Art, Abstract-Expressionism and Street. He has garnered a strong following among the Hollywood community as well as holding his own in the street art scene, having recently completed a collaboration with graffiti legend, artist RISK and others within one of L.A.'s most respected crews, The 7th Letter. Most recently, Siff, co-founded 'The Creative Cartel' with the artist Mar to promote their vision of what's next and new in the art scene and beyond. In 2011, he was commissioned to paint some of LA's most notorious walls, including The Standard Hotel in Downtown LA and The De la Barracuda Wall, with his simplest, yet deeply emotional work. In addition to exhibiting in Los Angeles and New York - where his work was featured in The Deitch Art Parades, Siff has shown his work in London, Dublin, Italy and Vancouver. Siff's work has also appeared in Andy Warhol's Interview Magazine, Paper Mag, The LA Times, Complex and Glamour. As an actor, Gregory started out on stage at the New York City Opera at Lincoln Center. Among the operas he sang in were Carmen, Tosca, Lucia and Turandot. He was cast in the duel role of Barry Williams/Greg Brady in Fox's true-life story of The Brady Bunch: The Final Days. In I.F.C's Rome & Jewel, a modern update of William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet, he played the role of Tybalt. He has also guest starred on Showtime's Nurse Jackie, HBO's How To Make It In America, and C.S.I: N.Y. In 2008, Siff wrote and starred in The Nothing Boys, a critically acclaimed semi-autobiographical play about a young man who returns home to his high school for his 10-year reunion only to find one other student in attendance. The Nothing Boys was produced by Rob Weiss, best known as producer of H.B.O's Entourage.
