Hugh is an English screen and stage actor. He was born and raised in the World Heritage City of Bath. It was nearby that he attended Sheldon school, where he began acting in youth productions. Hugh trained in Bristol to develop his technique in screen, stage and voice acting. His career started in both classical and contemporary theatre, but in recent years he has moved more towards film and television.Hugh has a passion for natural history, and has carried out research with Bristol Zoo and Australia Zoo in Queensland, where he worked with the late Steve 'The Crocodile Hunter' Irwin. In 2009, Hugh graduated from Swansea University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Zoology.Despite work often taking him elsewhere, both in the UK and abroad, Hugh now resides in London. He is the youngest of three; his sister is an actress and his brother, a photographer.
