He is the author of seven books, including "Love and Death: The Murder Of Kurt Cobain" and "Fire and Rain: The James Taylor Story", and a biography of Céline Dion. He has contributed to 60 Minutes 2 and Court TV. Halperin has been featured on Dateline NBC (1992), The Today (1952) Show, Howard Stern and Paula Zahn. When he posed as a model in 2001 to expose the fashion industry, his expose book, "Bad & Beautiful", became an international bestseller.
