Jack Bryan was born in New York City, but spent much of his childhood moving around the country and Europe. In high school he began writing screenplays. While attending Eugene Lang College and working as a production assistant he wrote a screenplay called Sidewinder which was optioned by Michael Mailer Productions. In 2006 he began working on the documentary "Life After Dark: The Story of Siberia Bar" which was completed in 2008. Also in 2008 he wrote a screenplay called "The Age of Men" which was optioned by Das Films. As of 2008 he writes a nightlife column for Quest Magazine.
