Jerald A. Hanson
A native Oregonian, Jerry began his television career while living in North Bend and attending schools there. While taking a Drama class Jerry made his first appearance in a Wonderful World of Disney move "Twister The Bull From The Sky" partly of which was filmed near his hometown. Other film appearance and behind the scene work include the movie Inchon, which was filmed in Korea while stationed there serving in the U.S. Army. He worked on a Movie "Blood Song" also titled "Blood Beach" starring Frankie Avalon assisting the sound technician Mike Moore with the movie. Jerry appears briefly in an episode of Extreme Makeover Home Edition S09 E06. Jerry's major work is in Homestead Rescue - Honey I Torched The Homestead S02 E02 which featured his two children, wife and himself. Mr. Hanson is also known as a watercolor Artist which paintings sold and distributed world-wide. An author of many newspaper and magazine articles Jerry has also authored two books with a third in publication as of April 2019. Jerry makes his home with his family on their farm in the Cascade Mountains of the Pacific Northwest, West Southwest of Crater Lake National Park. Jerry Hanson produces, Directs and hosts a YouTube reality show on homesteading called Pine Meadows Hobby Farm, A Modern Homestead, and a motivational speaker encouraging others to "take courage and rise above your circumstances". His self published show on YouTube "How A Poor Man Can Buy Cheap Property" documents and gives testimony to he and his family's time of homelessness, suffering a major medical condition and rising above that to be successful. In production now is a third installment for Discovery Channel's Homestead Rescue II, a Season Finale episode to air summer of 2019.
