Louis Robert Thompson was born September 1, 1985 in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. He is an actor, singer and dancer best known for his role as Corky in the Hallmark Channel original movie The Ultimate Legacy. He is also a fixture in Louisville theater productions with starring roles in Medea, Dirty Sexy Derby Play and The Food Chain.Louis began acting in high school; his first role was a Jet in a production of West Side Story, which earned him the Distinguished Actor Award and Scholarship. He continued to act while studying criminal justice at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky. After graduation, he returned to Louisville where he landed roles in a variety of stage productions that included All Shook Up (Derby Dinner Playhouse), Gospel Nativity (Rush Trowell Entertainment), A Well-Timed Christmas Murder, Specter at the Séance (both WhoDunnit Mystery Theater), Church Folk (Louisville Entertainment), and Money, Marriage and Misery (Tyrone Goodman Productions). Thompson's breakout role came along when he had the chance to play the amorous, adulterous Carl in Dirty Sexy Derby Play for the Louisville Repertory Company. He followed up with another Louisville Repertory Company role in the play The Food Chain, in which he played the self absorbed model Serge. He extended his career to classical theater with a starring role as Jason in the Savage Rose Classical Theater production of the Greek play Medea.
