Born and raised in Denmark, Lukas Hassel trained and graduated from the Samuel Beckett Theater School, Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.As a screenwriter, Lukas is recently won CineStory Fellowship 2012, and placed in Nicholl's top 30, with his drama "Le Mécano". He's currently in post on his own short film which he also directed, the sci fi "Into the Dark."Currently, Lukas is traveling all over the US with his director to help promote the feature film "In Montauk" (winner at Toronto Indie, Visionfest 2012, and many more) in which he plays the male lead.He just wrapped "On the Day God Slept " with Jeremiah Kipp as director, and he was thrilled to be working with the brilliant Lauren Fox.
