Magui Bravi
Lucia Magdalena Ana Bravi (born 15 October 1988) is an Argentinian actress. Best known as Magui, she was born in La Plata, Buenos Aires. Her father is Italian, and her mother is Spanish-Italian, both born in Argentina. At the age of 5, Magui's first dream was to become a ballet dancer. She attended Lincoln School in La Plata, and High School Liceo Victor Mercante, while also pursuing ballet studies at Teatro Argentino School, Teatro Colón of Buenos Aires School and at the finest male Argentinian ballet dancer academy, Julio Bocca School. At the age of 13, Magui had her first job in a ballet company and at age 15 she realized her dream of dancing in Iñaki Urlezaga's company at the biggest and finest Argentinian theater, Teatro Colón. Magui went on to study philosophy at USAL and in her first TV casting was selected for a dance reality show that lasted 5 months and which she won with the audience vote. After that award, she was selected for the Argentinian version of Dancing with the Stars where she was a finalist. Her performance in the show made her known in all Latin America.Magui's dream to become an actress was born and for several years she worked in theatrical plays of different genres: Comedy (Some Girl(s) by Neil LaBute), Musicals (Fuerza Bruta and The Wizard of Oz), Drama (Beatnik) while also developing her skills as a choreographer (La Cage aux Folles). In 2017, Magui co-starred in her first comedy film ¿Qué puede pasar? and later moved on to act in horror films to earn the nickname of the new Argentinian Scream Queen. Some of her best-known films are The 100 Candles Game and the Shape of the Woods. Today Bravi develops her career in different movie genres, always looking for an acting challenge.
