I like Edwin Arlington Robinson's adage that writers live in a kind of spiritual kindergarten, where they run around trying to spell out the meaning of life, but always with the wrong set of blocks. That's the category I best fit into. I'm always in search of that one idea, the one story or vision that can communicate my personal truth to someone else. It's a quest that never seems to reach a finish line. I like the challenge and perpetual restlessness it creates in my mind.

Mann Rubin
Mann Rubin served in the U.S. Army Forces, 1945-47, stationed in Paris, France.He attended New York University and earned his B.A. in 1952.His first job as a writer was science fiction [at least 19 stories] for the DC Comics' books Strange Adventures and Mystery In Space, edited by Julius Schwartz.He has also published fifteen short stories in the Alfred Hitchcock Magazine and other mystery anthologies. One of his stories, A Nice Touch, has been included in a British collection along with the works of H.G. Wells, Rudyard Kipling, and Robert Louis Stevenson.
