Marilyn Busch is a New England based actress with a background in regional theatre and comedy. Born in Boston, Marilyn attended Rhode Island College where she earned a B.A. in Theatre Performance. She honed her acting technique on stages throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maryland and Connecticut. Highlights include world premieres for The National Black Theatre Festival, Providence Performing Arts Center and Rhode Island's Perishable Theatre. As a comedienne, she performed sketch comedy for Boston audiences at Stitches Comedy Club and Catch a Rising Star, as well as improv comedy shows on Bay Queen and Newport Harbor cruises. She is known for her appearance in Brotherhood (2006) and most recently worked with the writer & director duo of Maya Forbes & Wallace Wolodarsky on The Polka King (2017) starring Jack Black and Jenny Slate.
