Mellini Kantayya is an actor, writer, and humorist. She is the author of the critically acclaimed book, Actor. Writer. Whatever. (essays on my rise to the top of the bottom of the entertainment industry). She is a regular contributor for Huffington Post Comedy, but has also written for its Media, Politics, and Arts & Culture sections.Though she mostly works in television, she made her debut in the independent film Keane (2004) and is known for her role as Pooja in the independent film Colin Hearts Kay (2010).
