A 2020 graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada's acting program, in Tiohtià:ke (Montréal, Québec), the unceded territory of the Mohawk Nation. Michael was born and raised in North Saanich and Victoria, British Columbia, territory belonging to the WSANEC, Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. A longtime theatre actor, Michael began his career in film and television in 2016 with a lead role in the comedy series Ollie and Emma.
