Michael Koskoff
Michael Koskoff, co-writer of Marshall, is a nationally known Connecticut lawyer with an extensive background in criminal and civil jury trials and major civil rights cases. Before entering law, Michael studied acting at the American Shakespeare Theater in Stratford Connecticut. As an attorney Michael represented members of the Black Panther Party in the New Haven Black Panther trials of 1970. He also represented various black police and fire organizations in precedent setting cases to gain access to employment and promotion in the civil services. He has lectured nationally on trial practice and has handled multiple high - profile cases involving the intersection of law and medicine. Also, Michael is featured in the book, "Damages," by Barry Werth - a book that chronicles his handling of a medical malpractice case brought on behalf of a brain damaged child. He is a principal in the Connecticut law firm, Koskoff Koskoff & Bieder, in Connecticut.
