Paul Olding is a BAFTA nominated (Best Director), multi award winning Tv Series Producer, Director, Producer and Writer. His work spans drama (tv serial drama, drama doc and Film Shorts) and documentary (science, history and ancient history). Working at the BBC, Paul created ground breaking series including Wonders of the Solar System and Wonders of Life with Prof Brian Cox (plus Horizon: What time is it? and What on Earth is Wrong with Gravity?), Origins of Us with Prof Alice Roberts and Earth the Power of the Planet with Prof Iain Stewart, and also many one-off specials like Pavlopetri: City beneath the Waves. He also directed BBC serial drama Doctors. Now freelance, Paul has gone onto to make shows for PBS (Emmy award winning How we got to now with Steven Johnson), Discovery Science (What on Earth), Channel 4 (Cleopatra's Lost Tomb), National Geographic and Animal Planet (Monsters behind the Iron Curtain). Paul has also produced and directed 9 independently funded drama film shorts that have been shown at film festivals around the world.
