After stepping on an IED in Afghanistan and losing my leg, I realized how lucky I was to return home with only a 'paper cut'. My goal is to destroy the negative stigma associated with injury. I have chosen to use my success to motivate others and eliminate victim mentality.

Redmond Ramos
Redmond Ramos followed in his two brothers footsteps and left to the military at 18 years old to become a Navy Corpsman (combat medic) with The Marines. He deployed to Afghanistan in 2011 where he stepped on an IED and later lost his leg. As soon as he got back, Redmond decided to begin a life of motivating others and competed in track and swimming internationally for Team USA Invictus games.
