Former US Army paratrooper, stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina (Honorably Discharged). Received a BFA in Performance Studies at the University of Central Florida Conservatory Theatre on GI Bill. Active in the Off-Broadway theatre world, receiving honors in Keith Reddin's New York premiere of "All the Rage" (2009). Is often cast in edgy roles. In addition to acting, Ryan is a freelance photographer and independent film producer. Lives in Brooklyn, New York.
