Samba is an actor, comedian and writer who was born in the cradle of the Sahara Desert: Nouakchott, Mauritania. He grew up in Ethiopia and at the age of 18 moved to Holland where he studied at the Utrecht School of the Arts. In 2006 he won the Jury & Audience Awards at the prestigious Leids Cabaret Festival, Holland's biggest national comedy competition. What followed were 3 comedy specials (Kun Min Woni An, Hakili Jambar and Je Maintiendrai) with tours throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and the US. He is a regular performer at the World Famous Comedy Store in Hollywood. Samba Schutte is known as the star of Watch Dogs: Amazing Street Hack (2014), which reached over 14M views in 2 weeks and won the Bronze Lion Award at the Cannes Lions 2014. He is also known for The Tiger Hunter (2016) starring Danny Pudi and Jon Heder (theatrical release September 22 2017) and Haleema (2013), which premiered at the 2013 Berlinale Film Festival.
