Sameerah Luqmaan-Harris is an LA-based film, television, and stage actor. She won 6 Best Actor Awards for her work in Moon Molson's widely acclaimed The Bravest, the Boldest (World Premiere - 2014 Sundance Film Festival), which has won over 50 Film Festival Awards.Sameerah received a 2016 Featured Actress in a Play Ovation Nomination for her work playing the female lead opposite Emmy winner, Sterling K. Brown, in Suzan-Lori Parks' groundbreaking play, Father Comes Home from the Wars, Parts 1, 2, & 3, at Mark Taper Forum in LA.Sameerah attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She graduated with a degree in Cultural Anthropology.Growing up in PA, WV, and LA, Sameerah developed a deep love of words, film, bluegrass music, and beignets.
