Born on the 23rd September 1988 in Dulwich, East London, UK, Shane Hervey began performing at an early age attending drama workshops from the age of 5. He then attended Bright Sparks Theatre School, Streatham. In 1997 whilst auditioning for the role of Gavroche in the West End, Shane was spotted and made his acting debut as Gavroche in the film adaptation of 'Les Miserables' (1998). Soon after, Shane began to make a career from being a child actor and starred in commercials and made television appearances between 1997 and 1999. In 2007 Shane Hervey changed his name back to his mothers name Goodsir and again in 2017 when he married Rhiannon Rose, then going by Rose-Goodsir. He moved to Cardiff, South Wales in 2015.
