Dr Steve Newbery is an international mining entrepreneur. He is an expert in the discovery of precious metals and diamonds. He is the founder of the MLI group of companies based out of Dubai and resides on and acts as technical adviser to a number of mining boards. In 2012 he took on the role on "The Geologist" in the Discovery Channel/Animal Planet reality TV show "Lost Treasure Hunters" in search of the famous Golconda diamonds in Central India.
