Taylor Brooks
Biography
Taylor Brooks
Originally from Chicago, Taylor Brooks started off as a child actor. Brooks played a copy-boy at the fictional Los Angeles Tribune, in the 20s, opposite Eric Roberts, on American Playhouse: Miss Lonelyhearts (1983) for PBS. That first role exposed him to actors like Conchata Ferrell, Gregory Itzin, and Hollywood veteran Arthur Hill and director Michael Dinner. Later roles led him to work with directors like Oliver Stone and James L. Brooks. Although known for his dramatic intensity, Brooks also did stand-up comedy for ten years. Brooks writes and directs, and is developing a biopic on Harry Houdini. Brooks lives in Los Angeles.
