Tekola Cornetet, 16, co-starred with Christopher Lloyd (of "Back to the Future", "Taxi" and "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" fame) in the independent feature film, The Boat Builder (2017). Tekola also plays Stavian in the Netflix original Amateur (2018).Prior to landing this role, Tekola hosted a web series called "Tekola Takes Off", traveling across the globe and off the beaten path to experience and share cultures foreign to Americans.Tekola is a long way from home - he was born in a hut in rural Ethiopia, orphaned at the age of three, and adopted by American parents when he was four. He splits his time between his home in Denver, Colorado and Los Angeles.
