Vitoria Setta was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her father, the late Ivan Setta, was an actor and writer. Vitoria moved to the United States at the age of 9 and attended LaGuardia High School of Music and Performing Arts. She is a cousin of Morena Baccarin and her aunt is actress Vera Setta. Her brother, Fernando Continentino Setta is also an actor and producer in Brazil.
