One of the major figureheads of the top-secret group 'Sector 7,' Simmons spent much of his life researching the Transformers and their time on Earth. However, after the Decepticons had seemingly been defeated at the Battle of Mission City in 2007, 'Sector 7' was disbanded and Simmons was out of a job.Returning to the East Coast to work in his Mother's deli, Simmons still continued his obsession with the Transformers. Looking up and posting numerous videos regarding any strange activity, as well as secretly hiding countless top-secret files. When Sam Witwicky and his friends came looking for Simmons, the de-commissioned agent soon found himself in Egypt where he managed to alert the Military to take down a large Decepticon.After the Egypt incident, Simmons was reinstated into a new division called 'Sector 8.' He also published a book regarding the knowledge he had regarding the Transformers, before Sam Witwicky sought him out again, regarding missing and killed scientists and engineers.
