Alan Hunley is the senior government intelligence official responsible for the oversight of the Mission Impossible Forces, and its the head of the Forces reports directly to him. He attempts to close down the Force as a result of the irregularity of its operations, which continues as it become rogue. Hunley chases down the rogue operatives until he discovers an intelligence shocker, resulting in a change in his relationship with the Mission Impossible Forces.
