Despite bringing in greater revenue for the firm, he was terminated due to his questionable ethical practices. In response, he sued the firm and won a considerable settlemnet, triggering a dissolution of the firm. Prior to his employment at Young, Frutt, and Berluti, he was employed at two different firms: Howard and Brock, and Carruthers Abbott.
