If there is a computer program to be decoded, a bug to be planted, a car to be traced or an identity to be created, Hardison is the man. Like Parker, he lost his parents early in life and was brought up by his grandmother, whom he frequently quotes. Hardison is not as experienced as the rest of the team in role-playing, but he quickly got the hang of it, especially when he gets to work with Parker. He's also not accustomed to the more dangerous elements the team encounters. But when he gets in front of a computer keyboard, the man's a miracle worker.Hardison has changed the most from the beginning of the series to the present. Once an isolated hacker who went head to head with impossibly high-tech security systems for the fun of it, Hardison spends his days now looking up information to help his friends steal back what was stolen from the innocent victims who seek their aid. He has an ambiguous morality at best, but he is certainly learning as much as he can from the examples set by Nate and Sophie of citizen accountability and social responsibility. He is quick on his feet, and will soon be as skilled at the improvisational escapades he performs as Sophie is at her grifting work. Hardison is sweet and beguilingly innocent--he'll take your cash and your trust, and keep you smiling the whole time.
